Overview:
New Jersey: a Northeastern state in the US bordered by his neighbors New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. While he is one of the geographically smaller states, he is also known for being the most densely populated state. This is mostly a result of living in such close proximity to two major cities: New York City and Philadelphia. Due to New Jersey's location, the state has been a site of several decisive battles during the American Revolution. Later on this also contributed to the state's rapid growth throughout the Industrial Revolution.
New Jersey was a center for war production through both World Wars and had a specialty in naval construction. As such, battleships, cruisers, and destroyers were all made in this state. New Jersey prospered during the Roaring Twenties but was hit hard by the Great Depression. Nowadays the state continues to grow and develop in the 21st century.
